Afternoon tea 

The daffodil is an art deco brassier/bar/restaurant situated in Montpellier, Cheltenham. 

The daffodil used to be an old cinema, which makes it interesting place to go for lunch or dinner as they have kept the old cameras, brilliant atmosphere about the place. Overall this place is in my top five of places to eat in Cheltenham.  

I love writing reviews of restaurants and bars mainly because I love food, Hey at least I am honest. In the last few years I have tried to come here at least once every four months or so. I have in the past come here for dinner, never for afternoon tea however. We had just missed a fantastic lunch menu, two courses for 15.50 by half hour, So at 3pm we settled for afternoon tea. I took my sister and her fiancé as a little early birthday treat for her, As I know she loves the this place

How is the service?

It was fantastic greeted at the door, They do usually ask to take coats but on this occasion they didn't. They are polite, friendly, attentive and all round great customer service. You can not fault this place for staff.

What is the food like?

In the past the meals here have been great all too a high standard. This time I picked afternoon tea, you get sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, fudge cake, carrot cake, macaroon, and panna cotta. 

The afternoon tea is £12.50 per person, Including a pot of tea each of your choice. The food itself comes on 3 tiers, I have honestly say my favourites where the panna cotta with salted caramel popcorn and the salmon sandwich. Mmmh. Lets think about it, £12.50 per person for a lunch is a really good price.

Just a short review, I rate this place very high around 9/10. Amazing service, amazing food and good prices.

I am a blogger, yes but I have never ever shopped in french connection! Is that bad? No not really. I am getting more confident with fashion, I am not a fashion blogger I would say beauty and accessories are more my style. I find it hard to find clothes that fit my awkward size, I guess. 

So back to the point French connection held an event at the beginning of the month to celebrate Cheltenham gold cup week with the racing. It has just taken me over ten days to finally blog about this, Yeah I take my time. 

So this was an open door event, which means no tickets needed to enter. This was at 6pm-8pm so after the store was closed. You get offered a lovely glass of prosecco when you enter the store, or orange juice for the drivers well thought of there, So I settled for an orange juice. They had music playing at the front of the store, it was a nice atmosphere.

I don't know how often they do the events, but when you make a visit to your next store it is worth asking.

I cant believe I have never shopped in here, the gorgeous clothes the pastels, the pinks and the blues…I just love blue. The skirts, oh the dresses you guys really need to make a visit in to your local stores. You really get what you pay for with clothes like this. I am a huge fan of the dresses however not the sizing I think a 12-14 turned out to be a large..gulp.

I was walking around the store deciding between a jumper and a teeshirt but it is so hard when you're loosing weight, it is a in-between stage of not wanting to buy anything big or too small or spend too much. In the end I settled for this lovely nautical teeshirt, great for spring! It is only £29.99!!

So here came the goody bags, They really filled these up to the brim with lots of beautiful things.

So with my item of clothing I went up to the till, to find around 50 gift cards on the side. The manager was telling me how three out of the fifty gift cards had £50 on! Lucky me picked  a lucky one, And got given the gift card. 

So I went back to the accessories and choose this super cute but simple bracelet. Which was so pretty for only £19.99 I love the silver bar across it,

Overall, I had a fab night. It got made brilliant when I won the gift card! Who loves free things, especially pretty things!!

This is my second review on boston tea party, I did the other one when it first came to Cheltenham a year or so ago. I love this place, if you haven't been I recommend you go. There are seventeen in total mostly around the South west / west midlands of england. Four of which are in bristol. It is such a cool place to go eat, even if it is breakfast or dinner. This place serves the best food. 

Let's talk about the food

The food is great, well presented, the menu is both mouth watering full of great things to choose from. Breakfast menu for me is the best part of the menu, You can choose from pancakes, Full english breakfast, salmon, Bagels, Porridge or toast.. Breakfast is without a doubt best time to eat here.

This place has been voted one of the best 25 places to eat brunch in the UK 

With lunch and dinner you will looking at burgers, salads and sandwiches. They cater for gluten free and vegan. So everyone can enjoy their food

But back to food, I ordered scrambled egg, salmon and mushroom (without toast) I am a girl who does not do carbs, As well as that I ordered peppermint tea. They serves the best triple mint tea in the whole of Cheltenham, Go you boston tea party.

Salmon was as delicious as ever, the mushroom was so tasty and my scrambled eggs where delicious. If only I could have this every morning, I would be a happy women with a happy belly.  

How are the prices?

Prices are really good, easily get breakfast here for around £10 which is great for students!Or those people that come here a lot aka me or just those on a budget. Sandwiches are all under £6.00 salads are under £7.00 unless you wanted the added extras and so on,  Wait, did I mention the cakes, Oh the cakes. 

I have not actually had a cake from here, go me with will power. But I have heard they are delicious. And check out those prices, You guys need to take your mums here or partners and treat them for sure.

What does it look like 

If pinterest had a restaurant it would look like this, My sister made a comment to me, It does have a half finished look to it.  A lot of chalk signs, Nirvanna posters randomly dotted about on the walls, cool lightings and lamps. The menus themselves on a wooden clipboard, really original.

Now about the atmosphere

It is lovely, it seems a lot of people like myself come here alone to sit and eat breakfast in the quiet by themselves with a book or newspaper or even catching up with the blogging. Heads up, internet here is shocking! Would not recommend going here if you need WIFI because it just does not connect. Boo :( Huge sad face.  

There is a good 'vibe' Yes, people still say that, about this place. Staff are all super friendly, polite and lovely. That is a winner in my books.

New Look in my opinion is so under rated. I really love the majority of things they sell, like the shoes, jumpers, tops and dresses. All items are done to a really good quality and they are such lovely soft fabrics with pretty designs always to the newest trends. The great thing is after you wash the clothes from New Look the shape stays the same. Which is a huge problem I am finding with clothes these days.

My latest visit into New Look saw me purchasing my usual work outfits, and this lovely peachy/pink slogan jumper, It is such a gorgeous spring colour, and it is like really soft that was the main reason I brought it. This spring slogan jumper/tops are really going to make a big come back.

I love the slogan 'Pardon my french', I feel like its very cute and chic, Something you can wear casually around the house, in jeans with a top bun, or really dress it up to go out with a leather jacket. 

I have worn it to a French Connection event I attended last week in cheltenham, I will post pictures soon

I have never ever ever ever brought anything from Boohoo.com. I don't know why I am just getting into the things when it comes to internet shopping. I am so behind with it all, Don't get me wrong I love spending hours going through ASOS and other websites and making wish lists. However going shopping and getting lunch, just something about it I love. Making a day of it! 

One thing you guys should know about me is that I love hats, I have straw hats, bowler hats, furry hats I am just a hat person. I have never gone out and brought a fedora however , I feel like they are so chic and sophisticated compared to other hats believe me I have walked past whistles, and ogled their lovely hat collections being tempted. However when I stumbled onto this bargain from Boohoo.com I was won over, It is  only £10.00! ten measly pound!! 

So after two clicks of a button then some card details, I had purchased it. Very quick and so easy for spend money on this website. After two days later it turned up, box turned up a little worse for wear, But I looked past that. 

It is so classy, Black with a silk ribbon, I think in future I will do for more bendy/floppy fedora but I feel like this is fully worth the money, Quality wise it is okay not great, Just my next hat is going to be from whistles without a doubt.

The perfect bag for SPRING H&M Fashion

What a steal! 

I popped into H&M about two weeks ago, and straight away form the corner of my eye I saw this pastel blue over the body bag. I wasn't sure whether I would buy it or not, But two weeks later surprise surprise! I brought it. 

It was only £12.99 after all.

I don't think I have actually purchased a bag from H&M before, so I wasn't sure on the quality. I tend to go for more expensive better quality bags, but I really just loved the colour and the two textures. It gives it a really expensive effect. 

You have a zip compartment in the bag, perfect place to store away the phone or cash. But overall I think this makes the perfect casual spring bag, Always feel like pastels bring out spring, I am debating buying the pink version so who knows.  I have tried to see if this is on there website, but unfortunately due to it being a nice item. It isn't on! 

Don't get me wrong, you can fit so much into this bag. I put my purse in, headphones, charger, Filo fax like this is a never ending bag.
