April 2014 - Lunch at bella italia - cheltenham

BELLA ITALIA - CHELTENHAM

I love food, Can you guess? I say I can stick too diets than before you know it, DAM. Mostly down to my undying love for italian food.Bella Italia in norwich was one of my favourite restaurants in the city, But I hadn't been to this one in Cheltenham. Our little lunch break was so lovely. I went with my twin her little ones, Roo and Harper and one of my close friends who came to visit us from Devon. It was a rainy day so a hot lunch after shopping was much needed.

(Myself and Mia)

We started off outside but due to the weather and the little ones we settled for inside. The whole interior of the restaurant had a lovely welcoming homey feel which as I have mentioned before is hard to find with chain style type of restaurants.

After debating with myself for 10 minutes odd, I steeled with steak which was not brilliant, lacking in taste and a little burnt. Over all I have had better.

If you are looking for somewhere that is brilliant to take the kids for a spot of lunch. This is the place to go.

Oleans France 2014

oleans  - france

One of the first places we visited in france turned out to be Oleans, such a pretty town. I could of happily lived there. One of the main attractions in Oleans, is the medieval abbey. And Boy, did it live up to what I thought it would be. I have never been any where so over powering. The place itself is huge and by huge I do mean massive. So much detail went into the building from the glass on the top of the abbey to the gargoyles on the side of the abbey.

I did take most of these pictures with the Nikon d90

Myself out the abbey, I do look so happy here!

The scary looking gargoyles at the side of the abbey, and I mean how petrifying!

This one was leading from the Abbey into the main town.

The detail on the stained glass windows is incredible.

The hand painted ceiling on the abbey,

The town of OLEANS

This was right outside the oceans museum.

This place was incredible, and apparently very well known. In the morning people wait for ages outside  to be served. The food is great so no wonder.

I know it's a ton of pictures!
And not much writing!

but enjoy!
